Global Vikram after ÂRaavananÂ

We expecting a lot for Vikram after his bi-lingual ÂRaavanan is released. Well-wishers are hopeful that his international popularity will soar many folds after Mani Rantnam's film. ThatÂs not saying too much after we heard a story that happened when he was in Cannes to promote the film along with Mani Ratnam, Abishek and Aishwarya.
Mani Ratnam had taken only the Hindi version of ÂRaavanan to Cannes and while briefing the media about the film, the delegates came to know that Vikram who is playing Dev in Hindi is also the Veera in Tamil ÂRaavananÂ. That news struck the audience and they went into utter disbelief. Every body was curiously surprised and said it is remarkable that the same person playing Dev in Raavan could do a completely contrasting Veera in Tamil ÂRaavananÂ. Appreciations poured over Vikram on the spot.
